2 Months: Profit/Loss +£1641 (start bank £100, mixed stakes, month 1 £1 EW, month 2 £2 EW)
After 2 months of running the Each Way sniper AUTO software I am very pleased with the results, but have some caveats to share.
First of all, let’s take a closer look at my results for July and August 2023:
Bets Placed | 1,661 | |
Lost | 1,164 | 70.05% |
Placed | 394 | 23.71% |
Won | 102 | 6.14% |
Some interesting observations:
I had bets to only be placed when odds were > 10.
The highest odds winner I had was 67.0.
The highest odds place I had was at 81.0
The average odds I placed bets at was 24.5

The first 2 weeks of August 2023 are highlighted, these showed tremendous performance, increasing profits by over £1000. You can see before that a gentle slope and after that a more erratic but overall upward trending slope, but that 2 week period was full of winners.
So what are these caveats?
I’ve been paying close attention on forums/discord to how other people have got on with EW Sniper over the same period and have seen dramatically different results. The number of variables in play, for example what bookies you have setup, any stake restrictions, the settings you have plugged in, how many bets you are happy for it to place, when you run the software etc etc mean it is very difficult to compare results on a day to day basis. Some days there are big winners while others have lost.
So with this in mind, I caution you to take my results with a pinch of salt. I was lucky, as were the majority of other users, in the first week or two of August. I was probably luckier than most during that period and also after that, as many went on to lose a lot of their gains in the latter half of the month.
Overall however, I believe everyone was in profit by the end, the maths played out for the betting at value and taking advantage of extra place offers (and BOG where possible). Just the degree of profit was widely distributed.
My recommendation
First off, I do recommend Each Way Sniper. I cannot argue with the profit that has been made, and in the main the automated software performs “ok”. I have found it to be a little buggy, sometimes it doesnt seem to try to get on bets that have been highlighted. Sometimes it needs rebooting a few times, there have been a few outages etc. But overall, the software does let you leave it to its own devices so yes, it is “auto” and it does get on the bets.
9/10 – Great Profit, ok software
My suggestions
I noted a lot of users complained about not “getting on enough bets” and having their settings to allow 5 or 6 bets per race. I don’t believe this is the right approach as a lot of those bets account for a lot of your losses – I preferred the approach of reducing the overall volume to around 30-40 bets per day maximum. I also think having more bets on a race increases the risk of losing accounts.
I also believe some selections are better than others, so for the majority of the trial I only had Betfair as the exchange to compare against (switching off Smarkets and Matchbook). My theory being that Betfair has the volume and market/users to give a better reflection of “true” odds than the smaller exchanges.
So setting the max bets to 3 or 4 per race, and limiting the exchanges to just Betfair, I think contributed to the success by simply reducing the number of losers.
Cautions
You will lose your bookmaker accounts. I lost Skybet within 2 weeks of starting, William Hill shortly after (and they closed my account completely and seem to want to keep my profits), Unibet lasted 2 weeks – as examples.
Use gubbed accounts for this, or at least accounts you have no real need for.
I dont see Eachway Sniper being a long term strategy simply due to the lifespan of accounts being used, but it is a great way to squeeze some profits out.
